Always a very popular careers forum, the focus in March was on careers in Finance. An excellent panel consisting of Chris Raggett (2002), Annamaria Koerling (1984), Tom Lockyer (2002), Myooressh Maheswaran (1997), Mark Wrafter (1991), Hakan Enver (1997) and Richard Clegg (2000) spoke to the audience of students and parents about their varied careers, challenges that they have faced and what they love about their roles in the Finance industry. Pictured above are Tom Lockyer, Chris Raggett, Hakan Enver, Mark Wrafter, Richard Clegg and Myooressh Maheswaran. The overwhelming message to come from the panel, was that not knowing what you wanted to do upon leaving school, need not be a problem. Choose a degree course subject that you had a real interest in and would enjoy during your time at university. With over 700,000 people working in the Finance industry in London alone, there are plenty of opportunities to work out which area of Finance you want to focus on and build a career in. Annamaria Koerling was also part of the panel.
