We were once again blessed with a gorgeous sunny day at Eltham College for the annual cricket match and summer reunion. Many OEs attended the opening of the archives before taking a final look around the Sixth Form Gallery, Tuck Shop, JublieeBlock and White House, which are due to be demolished in August. James Kempton (1979) even made it to the top of the tower where he had spent many mornings hoisting the Eltham College flag, just one of the Prefect duties back in the 1970s! The OEs were victorious in the cricket match and were joined by all the OEs and their guests for a BBQ at the Marathon Pavailion, known to many as the YMCA fields. A service was then held in the Chapel to mark the end of the summer reunion, a perfect way to end the day. During the service a special mention was given to Graham Matthews (1949) and his wfie Daphne who were married in the Chapel 60 years ago this summer.
